Green lasers are still a relatively new option for most people who carry defensive firearms, and even those who strongly believe in lasers on those guns still have some questions about how much better a green laser is than a traditional red one. In this video, Rob Pincus compares a red and green laser (both from the same company and using the latest technology) side by side so you can see the difference yourself. Generally, the green laser dot will be brighter and appear larger in typical defensive shooting conditions.

Don’t really like laser but that is just me. Green definitely looks better!
Looks like I need me a green laser/light for my rail.
We saw the impact of a red background on the lasers, but what about a green
background? I suspect the green maybe better but I’m just wondering..
How about we put both on a green surface?
Both my wife and I use the Viridian Green laser and light system for our
carry weapons per our CCW instructor’s recommendation. Just don’t forget to
zero them in, we prefer to zero them in at 7 yards.
