I love brit lab its so cool, like if u agree
“30% more efficient”? Compared to a standard incandescent bulb, they can be
up to 10x (1000%) more efficient, and compared to CFLs, they can be up to
200% more efficient, while giving off the same number of lumens.
I bet there’s lots of budding young basement farmers who could offer some
insight into this.
301 club over here.
Imagine using this tech to grow weed! Holy shit.
Plants are just machines that convery light to food. The are run by sevral
complex algorithms that tell them what to do.
cant stand her accent..just cant
It’s not pink in that room, it’s minus green :P

Why not use normal led’s, is there a difference between green light and red
and blue?
Weed farmers have known about this for years
Is that an Irish accent I hear??
Y U NO CLOSE THE DOOR?!?
The sun is free these lights cost money . I’ll stick with the sun and take
the bad year or two as they come
Plants “use” all the different visible light wavelengths for
photosynthesis? But that’s wrong!
Since it’s a controlled environment, you potentially won’t need to use as
many pesticides, if any. The ability to use vertical space is also
attractive, maybe we could convert old unused missile silos into vertical
indoor farms.
I was kind of expecting to see Huey, Dewey, and Louie tending the plants.
Those are some funny looking cannabis plants
How are the plants pollinated in this controlled environment ?
My question is how do these plants taste ? Because we know out-of-soil
farming exists and can be done but its problem isn’t reliability (it needs
tons of fertiliser of course) it’s taste.
Since the variety of minerals and nutrients in the plants are way lower,
their taste is without history or accident, without flavour or character.
Simply put, we can grow a carrot without soil but does it taste like one ?
