Working with fellow parent entrepreneurs is one of our great joys at Greeno Bambino. And when we hooked up with the WonderMom behind WonderToast, we were duly impressed.
That woman is Anna Woltz, the gifted illustrator of a truly unique line of children's products featuring Anna's addictively adorable hero WonderToast and his band of foodie friends.
With a wicked imagination and a whimsical stroke of her magic wand, Woltz has created what are simply some of the most imaginative designs around...clever enough for adults to appreciate, cute enough for friends to admire, and colorful enough for kids to adore. Plus, they teach little ones their ABCs while educating them about diverse cultures through the universal language of food.
Like all WonderToast onesies, this lemon-hued "F is for Falafel" version uses low-impact, azo-free dyes and is printed on fairly-traded 100% SKAL-certified organic cotton that is combed for softness and manufactured by an ethical, sweatshop-free outfit in Chennai, India. It has a durable double-stitched bottom hem, nickel-free snaps, an easy-on/easy-off envelope neckline, and is cut in a fashion suitable for both boys and girls. It's also tagless, which your baby's soft skin will appreciate.
Why is organic cotton a better choice? Because it is
produced without the use of harsh chemicals, bleaches or dyes, meaning
it won't irritate your child's sensitive skin and spares the environment
from the damage caused by toxic pesticides used in conventional cotton production. What's
so special about azo-free dyes? Put simply, their compounds don't break down into carcinogens. Sweet!
Available in sizes 3-6 months, 6-12 months and 12-18 months. |
