One of the nasty things about teethers is how filthy they get so quickly, whether using them around the house or on the move. DANO2, a new-wave toy company with a unique way of doing things, has gone a long way toward solving this problem with a simple, elegant, adorable solution.
The Bug Bite teether consists of two parts: a round blue nubbed teether and an integrated, attached green case. Merely rotate the teether out of the case for chewing satisfaction, and rotate it back in when you're done. Green and pristine, just the way we like it.
What makes this teether even more unusual is that it's crafted from the same medical grade plastics used by hospitals and dentists. Why is medical grade better? Because it is produced to a higher standard, under specifications set out by the USP (The United States Pharmacopeia, an official public standards–setting authority) and the ISO (the International Organization for Standardization, a network of the national standards institutes of 157 countries). Moreover, the Bug Bite is manufactured in a Class 7 cleanroom environment -- sterile enough for the manufacture of DNA testing equipment.
BPA (bisphenol-A)-free, phthalate-free, lead-free, PVC-free, pediatrician approved and made in the USA, you simply will not find a teether crafted with more attention to detail. And that's just what you'd
expect from a family-run company founded by pop artist/sculptor Daniel
Monahan, his wife Chelsea, his
entrepreneur father Greg, his chemist aunt Diane Meyer, and
his pediatrician mother, Carolyn. Every DANO2 product is personally
designed and sculpted by Daniel and put through rigorous 3rd party
testing before finding its way into your child's hands. Not
surprisingly, DANO2 is also committed to ensuring all of its
operations, from concept to manufacturing, from packaging to shipping,
are easy on the environment. |
